How many ways can you answer a math question?
In this book filled with open-ended problems, there is no one correct answer. Children learn to look at the same math problem in different ways and solve it using manipulatives, drawing, or writing. Because there is no single correct answer, each reproducible activity page can be reused multiple times as children's math skills grow throughout the year. Author Biography
Rosenburg began teaching first grade in Fresno, California, in 1989. She has a master's degree in education counseling as well as a cross-cultural language and academic certificate. From 1994 through 1997, Mary was a mentor teacher, working with first-year teachers and experienced teachers new to first grade. She has also been a master teacher for students in the credential program at California State University, Fresno.
