About the Author
Shivaji Sawant was a novelist in Marathi, best known for his novel Mrityunjay. He was the first Marathi writer to be awarded the prestigious Moortidevi Award in 1994. In 1980, he wrote a book titled Chhava based on the great Sambhaji Maharaj's life.
